I grabbed this book to read to my son's class at school. He wanted a book that was a "boy" book. This totally worked. It is hilarious!.

The whole class (elementary school) LOVED it. They were all smart enough to know that the boy was being naughty and that you really shouldn't try to trap Santa with Bombs and Bengal Tigers/5(46).

Upon finishing this book the first thing I did was a quick internet search for the author's names, just to see whether he really existed or was in fact a pseudonym for Tim Burton for in my opinion The Santa Trap is up there with The Nightmare Before Christmas as a perfect alternative (and dark) Christmas story/5.
